About Me

I’m Nicola, a Senior Game Programmer

I am from Sydney, Australia and am currently based in Auckland, New Zealand – the cost of living is comparatively less.

I have a background in graphics programming, animation programming, game-play systems programming and narrative systems programming. I’ve also taken side trips into technical art and technical design along the way with the different projects and roles I’ve worked.
I have experience working in Unity and Unreal Engine, on mobile, PC and VR applications for various hardware devices. I have experience using Yarn Spinner and Articy narrative systems. I’m also teaching myself Godot!
I also have experience with AWS user authentication/secure data storage systems along with Unity integration, and coding tools in Maya with PyMEL.
While I have past experience in VR/XR development it is no longer my career focus.

I have worked for indie and AA game studios, start ups in various industries, advertising companies, and with artists and art galleries working in interactive digital art forms.
